Fire damper surveys and asset registers
You cannot maintain what you cannot find. A Titan survey establishes exactly how many fire dampers your building contains, where each one is, what type it is and whether it can currently be accessed for testing.
Why a survey comes first
Most buildings we are called to have no reliable fire damper records at all. Drawings are missing or out of date, dampers have been added or removed during refurbishments, and ceilings have been closed up over access panels that were never replaced.
Without an accurate asset register, any testing regime is guesswork. You can only report on the dampers you happened to find, which leaves an unknown number of unprotected penetrations in your compartmentation.
Our surveyors work through the building systematically, tracing ductwork through fire-rated walls, floors and ceilings, and recording each damper against a unique reference, a location description and a photograph.

What you receive
The output is a digital asset register you own outright: every damper listed with its reference, location, type, size, access route and current condition, cross-referenced to floor plans where these are available.
We also flag every damper we could not reach and explain why: no access panel, a panel too small to work through, or plant fixed in front of it. Each one comes with what it would take to gain access. That turns an unknown into a costed, closable list of actions.
