Our services
Planned maintenance and servicing
Compliance is not a one-off exercise. A planned maintenance agreement puts your fire damper testing on a fixed cycle, with dates agreed in advance, prices held, and reminders that come from us rather than from your fire risk assessor.
A programme built around your building
We agree a cycle that matches your risk profile and your obligations. That is commonly annual, or two-yearly where BS 9999 permits it and the environment is clean. High-risk areas such as commercial kitchens, workshops and dust-laden plant spaces are placed on a shorter cycle.
For larger estates we can phase testing across the year so that costs and disruption are spread evenly and no single site is closed down for a week. Multi-site clients receive a consolidated compliance position across the whole portfolio.
Standards we work to
- Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Article 17
- BS 9999:2017 maintenance and testing regimes
- BESA DW/145 ongoing maintenance guidance
- Fire Safety Act 2021 and Building Safety Act 2022 duties
Records that stay current
Each visit updates the same asset register rather than starting a new one, so you can see the history of every damper: when it was tested, what it failed on, when it was repaired and when it passed.
That history is what turns a folder of PDFs into a defensible compliance position, and it is what a fire risk assessor, an insurer or an enforcing authority will ask to see.
